Well I am going to fly...It is all for a great cause!!  The Relay for Life on Friday, June 15th from 6pm -6am.  It is held at the base of Hunter Mountain.  You can sponsor a team or person on line.   Just Google

Happy Mamma Chicks Day!

Happy Mamma Chicks Day!!!! And what a day.  This is a perfect weekend for all the Mamma Chicks...Being a mom and raisin' the little chicks up right is not an easy task...My chicks are ready to fly the coop always earlier than I think they should.  But what's a Mom to do...  We have a great day planned of scratchin' for bugs in the dirt and roostin' up high in the trees.  I know there will be some good scapes from the restaurant at  The Catskill Mountain Country Store.  Leave a little something extra on your plate, for the mamma animals in my looking zoo!  Enjoy!  Wicked out!

Baby Chicks!!!

April 30...tomorrow...that's when the new baby chicks come.  I am sooo excited!!!   The barn is looking great!   If we get some warmer weather the Shusters are going to paint it....What color?  Bright purple... No I am kidding , a rich deep barn red!!!  And another sign of spring.  Flowers!!!  The greenhouse will be overflowing by next weekend.  Lots of beautiful hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, rose bushes and more for Mothers Day.   I am looking forward to seeing you!!  Wicked out!

Spring is here!!!!!!

Spring is finally here... though I can't say the weather is much different the winter and that's saying something about winter because we have had 80 degree days! But anyway, spring has brought new things for the store. The back is beautiful and stocked full of toys and the barn has finally been moved. I can't believe I'm going to have new chickens around me, going to have to teach those new chicks the pecking order around here!... Everything else is going great, the store is filled with new stuff and I couldn't be a happier (or more wicked ) chicken!
